123 Farm Lavender Festival – Riverside, CA – @123farmorganics

Running all the way through October 29th, the annual Lavender Nights is worth the hour-and-a-half drive.  Enjoy the live music, lavender-themed food, and the view of over 100,000 lights that illuminate the night while you inhale the intoxicating smell of farm fresh lavender.  Tickets only cost $12, including taxes and fees. Be sure to come hungry as sourdough pizzas are in abundance, make sure to try the “Fig & Lavender” with goat cheese and caramelized sweet onions.  You’ll be so relaxed on the ride back after spending the day engulfed by the lavender scents that you’ll drift right off to sleep once you get home.

Snow – Line Orchard & Winery – Oak Glen, CA – @snowlineorchard

Love cider, donuts, and apple picking? Then it’s your time to shine and frolic at Snow-Line Orchard.  Go and picnic with your friends and loved ones and enjoy the slightly cooler chilly temperature. Open daily from 9am – 5pm, Snow Line Orchard is a lovely way to slow down, enjoy the outdoors, and secretly pretend you live this East Coast life everyday before returning back to the hustle and bustle of the city.

Member-owned and invite-only, The Obscure is a fantastic way to enjoy an afternoon with your girlfriends, impress a date, or enjoy the pleasure of your own company.  

The ticket pricing is determined by a seat’s proximity to the bar and has three different options. Each ticket includes three rounds of drinks, expertly prepared by the bar staff, to enjoy while you sit under the trees and lights that will remind you of New Orleans mixed with The Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland.  Eat something before you come as this experience includes a tasting of each spirit and a cocktail featuring each as well.  Lasting about two hours, you’ll leave feeling full of life and liquor. Magic Market has become THE event of spooky season in Los Angeles. Tickets to their first event sold out before you could even scream BOO! Thankfully, you’ll have another opportunity to shop and explore all this mystical market has to offer at one of the two additional dates they opened in November. You’ll find spooky vendors, food trucks, and even a historical house tour to liven up your day!  Stay on top of the ticket sales for the additional markets in November will for sure sell out.  If they go on sale at 9am, be ready at 8:55 am and log on at 8:59 am; but for only a $7 entry fee, this is a lovely way to enjoy small business goodies and treats to take home for the Halloween Season!

Delusion is an interactive horror theater show that will scare the literal life out of you.  With two floors of interactive horror stories, you’ll need to sleep with the lights on when you return home that night. This immersive show’s stories will swallow you into the mystery of The Author and his disturbing agenda. This experience is not for the weary of heart, but for those who are truly ready to embrace their dark side, and the $100 price tag that is sure to put you six feet under, this is the night for you!
