Don’t trespass and ensure that you aren’t crossing any boundaries that might get you in trouble.
Gamble House – Back to the Future – Pasadena, CA

Featured in the classic, Back to The Future, this national landmark owned by Pasadena, The Gamble House is the most complete and original example of the work of architects Charles and Henry Greene that showcases the beautiful style of the craftsmen’s homes. Book a 45-minute family tour, where your tour guide is a local middle schooler and tickets range from $5 – $10. For those wanting a more in-depth historical tour led by a professional, this hour-long tour explores the handcrafted details and fixtures unique to the house.
The Brady Bunch House – North Hollywood, CA

A home as American as apple pie, The Brady Bunch house may have only been used for exterior shots, but the inside has been refitted to represent the soundstage it was filmed on. ‘Don your best 70’s attire and enjoy a walk around Tujunga Villiage as you escape Los Angeles, head to Smalltown USA, and enjoy the suburbs. With amazing dining like Aroma Cafe and Vitello’s Restaurant, you’ll know that it’s much more than a hunch that you took the time out of your vacation to visit the Brady Bunch.
The Innes House – Charmed – Echo Park, CA

Located in the heart of Echo Park, the Charmed House is a must-visit for all witches of the modern age. Free street parking abounds as you walk down this idyllic street lined with gorgeous Victorian homes, but be sure to take your photos at a steady distance. Once you’ve had your fill of spells and amulets, head over to Button Mash to enjoy a drink, vintage pinball, and arcade games to keep the 90s alive and kicking!
The Office – Panorama City, CA

Escape the mundane and ordinary life to experience the monotony of office life deep in the valley. While this location is often secure and locked up to the public, it’s still as delectable as Angela’s Double Fudge Brownies to see with your own eyes. Though there are numerous locations from The Office to visit, the exterior of Dunder Mifflin Paper Company should be at the top of your list. Though there aren’t a lot of places to stop for a bit in the area, the California classic In-N-Out is just around the corner to check off your list!
Griffith Observatory – La La Land – Los Feliz, CA

Experience another day of sun or enjoy a city of stars as you visit this top-tier Los Angeles establishment. Open from 10 am – 10 pm, you’ll have plenty of time to check out the Tesla Coils, take in a show at the Planetarium, or even grab a bite at the Cafe at the End of the Universe. However, since you’re in the area, a trip to Little Dom’s, Encanto Los Feliz, or Alcove Cafe which are all located just down Hillhurst for a dining experience that showcases what people who are passionate about food can truly do.
Leo Carrillo Beach – She’s All That – Malibu, CA

Put on a little Sixpence None the Richer and descend the wonderous staircase that leads you to the secluded beach featured in She’s All That. Though this beach is quiet and serene, do note that snakes (why does it always have to be snakes) are quite active in the area. But if you don’t bother them, they won’t bother you; especially when you take off your glasses to reveal you were a total hottie the whole time.
Nakatomi Plaza – Die Hard – Century City, CA

Action and adventure await you at this classic high-rise located in the heart of Century City. Home of the holiday classic Die Hard, this 34-story and 493-foot-tall building is perfect for securing stocks and bonds theft…I mean, visiting your loved ones at their annual Christmas party while you enjoy showstopping views of the city. When you’re done doing your drive-by, hit up the Westfield Century City and enjoy Eataly’s pizza, pasta, and all of their delicious wines after you’ve completed your mission dealing with 80’s German thieves.
